Paragons in Sandstorms

It was through the mountains and flicker of dawn,
Out of the shadows came the stoic and brave,
Legends anchored to the depths of a grave.

In a beige, barren, sweeping realm – chaos spawned,
A wake of vultures rule the lost and depraved.
It was through the mountains and flicker of dawn,
Out of the shadows came the stoic and brave.

A mother’s tormented wail, the rain long gone,
Armor and lore, strife in a collapsing cave,
Despair looms in the sand of billowy waves.
It was through the mountains and flicker of dawn,
Out of the shadows came the stoic and brave,
Legends anchored to the depths of a grave.
